Hey there… it's me, Liz!

   

I’ve been a professional pastry chef for over 15 years, working and running amazing  pastry kitchens all across the United States.  I’ve worked in everything from fine dining restaurants including The French Laundry (considered one of the top restaurants in the country!), to bakeries, hotels, cafes, and more.

 

I love teaching and sharing what I’ve learned with others, so I started Think Like A Baker as a way to feel less alone in your baking journey at home.

 

While I might be a pastry badass by trade, I am a self proclaimed silly goose and honestly sometimes I burn the cookies. I love cooking with my friends, telling dad jokes, and wearing stretchy pants. When I’m not hanging out in the kitchen, you can usually find me singing karaoke in my living room, hanging out in my garden with my family, or drinking coffee. Oh, I also love hot dogs, shrimp, and any sale on butter.
